As specialised maternity photographer I love being able to capture the beauty of pregnancy in amazing outdoor natural surroundings of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Pregnancy is such a surreal experience, carrying another life inside you. It is fleeting part of our lives that we may only experience a couple of times. A professional maternity photoshoot gives you the opportunity to record & look back on this time. Your body changes so much, so quickly, probably more than it ever will at any other stage in your life. While it can feel that your are being stretched and pulled beyond limits, your body is performing some serious wonders growing a child!
Despite being constantly sick, and feeling like my body had been over inflated, my professional maternity photos are some of the most precious I have. I love reminiscing on those times when a small kick or movement would fill me with excitement about the baby that was to come. Remembering how I craved green apples and could eat 8 a day. Being unable to tie my own shoe laces towards the end.

A hair and makeup artist will pamper and prepare you for the photoshoot ( booked for an additional fee ), and I provide a range of dress for you to choose from. Regarding the style of shoot, thats entirely up to you. You can have a more casual, intimate style shoot, or complete glamourous shoot in a gorgeous maternity gown. Once you are booked in for your session, I will arrange a time to discuss the styling so I can provide you with your perfect pregnancy photos! Outdoor maternity photographer Sunshine Coast:
Maternity photoshoots can be done in a range of outdoor locations on the Sunshine Coast. If you have a particular area in mind or favourite spot I will be happy to do your photos there. I also do studio photography if you would prefer a studio maternity photoshoot.
Professional maternity photographer Noosa booking timeframe:
Make sure to book your session early in your pregnancy ( around 12 week mark ) to ensure I have availability. Also don't leave it too late - past 37 weeks can be quite exhausting and you might not have the energy for a full professional maternity photoshoot.
Preparing for your Maternity PHOTOSHOOT
Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope everything is going smoothly & if you need any information on maternity services around the Sunshine Coast, check out this guide. If you haven't already, consider booking in a maternity photoshoot via my contact form: Book Sunshine Coast Maternity Photographer. If you'd like a newborn photoshoots too, consider booking a combined package for a 10% discount. Once you've made your booking I will schedule a call do discuss styling & location, or if you prefer we can arrange everything over email. Consider what you would like to wear, where you would like the photoshoot to be held, and if you would like anyone else to be part of the session.
What happens on the Maternity photoshoot day?
I do recommend my maternity clients to have their hair & makeup professionally done. If you like, I can arrange this at the time of your booking for a discounted rate with my preferred stylists . Depending on which hair & makeup artist is booked, you can either have this done at the salon, at my studio, at your home, or if you are on a baby moon, then at your holiday accommodation. While you are having your hair & makeup done I will drop by and check out how everything is going and bring any of my maternity gowns which you may be interested in wearing for the shoot. Once hair and make up is done, we will head to the arranged location. For most photoshoots I am to do some photos in the greenery, and some at the beach. I aim for the beach photographs to be taken around sunset. The session will take approximately 2 hours.
After your maternity Photography Session
Once your professional Sunshine Coast maternity photoshoot is complete, it will take around 4 weeks for the digital images to be ready. At this point I will contact you to arrange an in person viewing in Noosa so we can go through your gallery and you can choose the package & wall art you would like. If you are not local to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, then we can do the viewing via an online gallery.
